As one half of Field Music, Peter Brewis has been honing the craft of pop songwriting for almost fifteen years, whilst Sarah Hayes has been exploring contemporary folk in her solo work, and the world of indie-pop via her band Admiral Fallow. Together, they have created You Tell Me, and the pair’s self-titled debut album is out now on Memphis Industries.
After meeting at a Kate Bush celebration concert, the pair clicked. They’ve blended their distinct talents and clear styles but created a new voice with rich and intricate compositions, multi layered instruments and beautiful vocal melodies. Simultaneously classically rich in craft and creativity, it feels stylistically contemporary and modern.
You Tell Me live band features Sarah and Peter plus Damo Waters (drums) and Mark Simms (bass). They will be on tour in 2019.
