Battersea Arts Centre goes Borderless

Proving that the arts do indeed have no boundaries, Battersea Arts Centre and GOAT Music (former Roundhouse music programmers) have just announced that they will be collaborating this summer to present a broad and diverse multi- genre musical spectacle. Borderless takes place over August and September 2016 and celebrates some of the best homegrown talent and unique artists from around the globe.
Back in the seventies Batterseea Arts Centre hosted The Jam and Fleetwood Mac, and this year it’s all about celebrating the future, with artists  including jazzy Hackney Colliery Band, the captivating MONEY, 12 piece dub group Nubiyan, electro euphoria HÆLOS, and country and blues singer Kath Bloom, with more to be announced.
Borderless will take place in the intimate setting of the beautiful Council Chamber. Reached via grand marble stairs and adorned with wood panelled walls and a vaulted plasterwork ceiling, it’s a location that threatens to distract from the sound, but one that will add to the experience.
Tickets for Battersea Arts Centre members are on sale now, with general tickets on sale from 10am on the 18th May. Limited early bird tickets for under 25’s are also available.
