Caught By The River

Music, literature, beer and nature, all in the city. Sounds kind of perfect? That’s what will be on offer at Caught By The River, a new two day festival to hit London this summer.

Taking place over the 6th and 7th August at Fulham Palace, the creators of the event (fresh from curating and promoting stages at Port Eliot, Festival No 6, Field Day and the Good Life Experience) describe the festival as ‘part gig, part literary gathering, part nature symposium, and part high-summer garden party.’

The line up is certainly diverse. Super Furry Animals and Low will be headlining, and joined on the music stages by Beth Orton, Mulatu Astatke, the Sun Ra Arkestra, Gwenno, and more, whilst the literature side of things is led by Kate Tempest, Faber & Faber, Amy Liptrot and Paul Kingsnorth. There’s also stages to be announced curated by stages from the Canal and River Trust, the Idler Academy, the Museum of British Folklore and the Caught by the River Bookshop.

Weekend tickets are only £55 and available here.
