Courtney Barnett – Nobody Really Cares If You Don’t Go To The Party

Wry, observational lyricism, brash and bold tunes and an authentic approach has seen Australia’s Courtney Barnett attract praise like bees to sticky jam. She’s just shared the video to new Nobody Really Cares If You Don’t Go To The Party. Shot this week and directed by Jon White, amidst an incendiary unannounced live set outside Camden Town tube station in the heart of London, it sees Courtney and the CB3 bringing Camden High Street to a stand-still, as the band power through the track underneath a billboard emblazoned simply with the song’s title. If you haven’t fallen in love with her music yet you’re either a hermit or heathen, but for the rest of us, the killer track is released on September 11th via House Anxiety/ Marathon Artists.
