With a lazy meander and compressed distracted vocals, a fragmented and morose afro-beat, and cynicism about the world and its people, A-A-A- from British/Danish Sebastian Zieler, aka ticktock, is a hypnotic and conspicuous rolling tune that swirls and reveals more with every listen. Empoying some synaesthesia with the video, which sees a woman on an open plain with a number of horses and a shotgun, Zieler says that when working on the video he ‘wanted to stay clear of any direct interpretation of the lyrics, and instead go for a video that looked like the song sounded – a visual parallel.’ The new album TColt is out 16th March 2015 via The Big Oil Recording Company.
