Classic films, deckchairs, popcorn, beers, burgers and a chance of rain? It’s a London summer. There’s something wonderful about sitting in the outdoors watching a well loved movie, especially when it’s on a 14ft screen, and there are prizes to be won, sing alongs and a chance to dance involved. With twenty movies over eight weeks, Backyard Cinema returns to Camden Lock this July, August and September. With 1950’s Usherettes serving ‘beer for punks’ right to your seat as well as frozen cocktails, summer special spirits, ice cold wine and soft drinks and Honest Burger’s artisan and acclaimed meat and veggie options to line the stomach the culinary needs are well met, and the film line up doesn’t disappoint. Things kick off on July 16th with Gravity, and from then on there’s a whole mix of comedy, drama, thriller and romance to entertain. So get on down there, and don’t sit back, but get involved in Backyard Cinema’s summer screenings.
Tickets are available now, from £15.
