Excellent, epic, and free, the Amber EP from Binary is something of a wow record Full of moody distortion and brimming with abrasive angst it carouses and cavorts with well written melodies through out the five captivating and compelling tracks. You Need The Blue Key opens up suggesting a more electro feel than is the case, its stunningly shimmering moodiness riding the wave that remains throughout. G.O.D bristles with antagonism as it builds around a simple electronic drum loop into something of an anthemic and atmospheric soundscape. Citing their aim as being to ‘bring the strange back into rock n’ roll’ this is a band hovering on the horizon of something big.
