Beautiful Strange release just music that they like, which is the best possible reason for doing so really. It’s easy to see why they’ve taken a fancy to Big Wave. Lo-fi guitar pop (I know, what’s new, but bear with it) they unite a bit of sugary sweet pop charm with a touch of analogue indie. Their debut album The Roots of Love (Come Tumbling Down) E.P was released back in June, and ended up being a great accompaniment to a drizzly summer, in it’s spirited pop melodies filtered through a slightly melancholy guaze. Luckily the weather hasn’t altered for Only You.
